Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Supervision

May 20, 2004 by Presidential Decree the Federal Service for Technical Supervision and the Federal Service for Nuclear Supervision converted to the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Supervision.

The Federal Service for Supervision of Environment and Nature transformed into the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources, and the functions in environmental surveillance transferred to the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Supervision.

 All-Russian Research Institute for Certification

VNIIS carries out research, methodological and advisory activities in the field of standardization, certification, accreditation and quality management. Scientific development of the institute have been used successfully in the practice of the country's economy, its achievements have been noted repeatedly by the Government. The Institute was awarded the Order of Red Banner of Labor.
